We make buying a home at auction, easy!
For most of us, buying property isn’t something that we do all that often. It’s an exciting time once you’ve made the decision to become a home owner and we’re here to make the experience a lot less intimidating. Our auction bidding service simplifies the whole process for you.
1. Initial Discovery Call
The purpose of our initial (free) discovery call is for us to learn more about you and your requirements, and for you to learn more about our services.
We want to ensure the best possible outcome for you on auction day, so it's important for us to have a thorough understanding of your position including your budget, potential properties you've shortlisted and so on.
2. Engaging Our Services
Once you've decided to use our auction bidding service, we'll send you our 'Buyer's Agency Agreement' which will outline our full service inclusions and flat fee structure.
We'll also send you an 'Authority to Bid' form to complete along with a seperate form to provide us with the property details and your maximum budget. This form is kept strictly confidential and not shared with anyone.
3. Setting Our Strategy
As mentioned, winning at auctions is all about strategy.
We'll have a chat with the selling agent prior to the auction, to obtain further insight into the campaign - how many registered bidders they're expecting, if there have been any formal offers submitted, the reason for sale and urgency etc.
4. Attending The Auction
We'll physically attend the auction and strategically bid on your behalf with a goal of securing the property for the lowest possible price.
It's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the moment. You're more than welcome to be there by our side, on the phone or we can call you after the auction with the result.
5. Post Auction
Our help doesn't stop at the fall of the hammer!
We'll continue to guide and support you even after contracts have been signed. We'll provide you with instructions on the next steps to ensure a smooth transaction, all the way through to settlement.
6. Bonuses
We have a large network of other professionals such as mortgage brokers, solicitors, B&P inspectors etc.
If you need any of these services throughout the campaign, please let us know and we'll be more than happy to put you in touch with them.
What you must know about auctions

Purchases at auction are unconditional. This means that if you win the auction, you must make the purchase. There is no time for resting.
Successful bidders are required to pay a deposit on the auction day, which is typically 10% of the purchase price. According to Australian law, you will lose your deposit if you have financial difficulties and are unable to close on the property because this amount is non-refundable.
Be careful when buying a home because any structural flaws, unpaid taxes, or neighbourly disputes are passed on to you when you buy.
Savvy auction bidders must be aware of a property’s market value; otherwise, they risk overpaying for it. This can lead to financial issues, such as your bank not lending you the appropriate amount of money, which puts the burden back on the buyer to cover the shortfall.
Therefore, conducting your research is essential to ensuring that you don’t end up with a soured property.
